All of us are experiencing the impact of our current situation. Together we will embrace the challenges presented by COVID-19 and reinvigorate the disciple making ministry Jesus commissioned to the LCC family. We are not to neglect meeting together for worship, encouragement and fellowship (Hebrews 10:25).
We all need Jesus.
We need one another.
Your neighbors need you.
You need your neighbor.
So what are we going to do about it?
ADAPT.
This new situation requires new tools. We must embrace technology, even if it’s new and we don’t feel “good at it.” Together, we can do this!
The elders are leading by embracing new technologies that will allow us to connect with you and help connect you to one another.
Facebook is a very popular platform. Facebook is free and allows quick interaction and spread of information. Please set up your account at www.facebook.com. After you set up your account please search and request friendship with Tim Olson, Tim McCoy, Brian Park and Tim Ogle. We can then help assist you in connecting with other ministry team leaders and the LCC Facebook page.
Zoom Cloud Meeting is another free service we are using in ministry to Connect with one another. The Sunday Night #DoingLifeTogetherInChrist young adult group has been using Zoom. Most computer setups, smart phones and tablets have all the needed tools to utilize the zoom platform. Setting up a Zoom account is simple and only requires providing an email account to register.
If you need assistance please contact Tim Ogle by calling the office (320)593-3635 or emailing him at tim.ogle@litchfieldchristian.com. He will help find assistance.
We know that “virtual” connections will not be the same as actually coming together, but different times require different skills.
We need Christ and one another as much as we ever have.
Serving in the name and reputation of Christ requires us adapting into these exciting times.
Follow us as we lead into a new era of LCC’s fellowship and ministry.
